Covid-19 antigen test

 

COVID-19 is a pathology caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, a virus that infects humans. Its transmission occurs through respiratory particles when coughing or sneezing.

Symptoms include:

• Acute respiratory distress.

• Fever.

• Dry or wet cough.

• Dyspnea or shortness of breath.

• Nasal mucus.

• Loss of taste or smell.

• Nasal congestion

• Conjunctivitis (redness of the eyes)

• Sore throat

• Headache

• Fatigue.

• Nausea/vomiting.

• Diarrhea

To avoid being infected, it is important to use the safety measures described by the WHO, such as hand washing, wearing a mask in public places, and not being in contact with contaminated people.

 

Currently there is no 100% effective treatment for COVID-19. At Alpha Research Institute, we are looking for alternatives against SARS-CoV-2; therefore, we offer a diagnostic test of antigens and PCR completely free. This test consists of the collection of saliva sample and nasopharyngeal swab.

 

For participating in the study they can receive a monetary compensation of $25 and free transportation throughout the Houston area.
